These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Advent Courier Services’ website, products, and services. By accessing or using any part of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Advent Courier Services (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides specialized courier solutions, including but not limited to medical, legal, government, laboratory, and mobile notary services. These Terms apply to all users, including clients, visitors, and service partners.
We provide same-day and scheduled delivery services that are time-sensitive and mission-critical. Our areas of specialty include:
Medical Courier (HIPAA-compliant delivery of specimens, pharmaceuticals, and equipment)
Legal Courier (court filings, sensitive contracts, and timestamped proof of delivery)
Government Courier (permits, records, and inter-agency documentation)
Laboratory Courier (diagnostics, specimens, and chain-of-custody)
We offer mobile notary services throughout our coverage area. Notaries will travel to the client’s preferred location to notarize eligible documents. All notarizations require government-issued photo identification.
Clients may not request transportation of:
Hazardous or flammable materials
Illegal goods
Weapons or controlled substances
Unsecured cash amounts over $500
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service if we determine that a package or its contents violate our safety or compliance protocols.
Appointments should be scheduled in advance. Rush or on-demand services may be available at an additional fee. Availability is not guaranteed and is based on driver capacity and routing schedules.
All services must be prepaid unless a written agreement for invoicing has been established. Accepted forms of payment include credit cards, debit cards, and ACH transfers.
Late payments will incur a 10% monthly interest charge.
Returned payments are subject to a $35 processing fee.
All prices are subject to change with prior notice.
Our standard liability for lost or damaged items is capped at $100 unless otherwise specified in a client agreement or additional insurance is purchased. We do not assume responsibility for:
Delays caused by weather, traffic, or accidents
Improper packaging by the sender
Events outside of our control (Force Majeure)
All documentation and deliveries are handled in strict confidentiality, with adherence to applicable laws including HIPAA, GLBA, and state privacy regulations. We will not share client data with third parties except as required by law or with written consent.
To cancel a scheduled delivery or notary service:
At least 24 hours' notice is required for a full refund.
Cancellations made within 12 hours will incur a 50% fee.
No-shows or cancellations within 3 hours will be billed in full.
Advent Courier Services reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate services, pricing, or these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
All website content, graphics, service descriptions, and branding are the exclusive property of Advent Courier Services. Unauthorized reproduction or use is strictly prohibited.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any disputes arising shall be subject to binding arbitration in [Insert County, Tennessee.
